Room 1 were buzzing with excitement and challenge this afternoon as we ended our fabulous year of Maths learning with a board games afternoon. Many favourite board games were brought along to school and children taught their friends how to play a new game.
This was a great reminder to myself and to the children, that when with friends and family these holidays, why not pull out the old fashioned games and put the electronic ones away. This is such a fun way to spend time together. The children did not want to stop!
We had an entertaining afternoon yesterday where everyone in Room 1 performed an item to share to our room 1 audience. We had skits, Fuze, lip sync, singing, dancing, drama, fun facts, jokes and sharing of art. The children chose an item and worked together to showcase a piece of the Arts they have been learning about throughout the year. Mrs Mudge was very impressed with the props, costumes, and items that were all organised by the children. Ka pai tamariki ma!
