About Our School

Selwyn Ridge School opened in 1997 and has modern facilities in an exciting and inspirational environment. We cater for children in years 0-6 and offer a well equipped information centre, a superb indoor sports and assembly hall and a state of the art media centre. Our school is a very special place with a caring, friendly and nurturing culture where we have high expectations for learning and behaviour. Exciting programmes are developed and attractive classrooms are filled with happy faces that reflect learning taking place. Our talented team of teaching and support staff work to create the best possible teaching and learning environment for our children. We think through our values and beliefs and ensure our practice is aligned with these. 'How will it make a positive difference for children?' is the bottom line in decision-making.
