Nau mai haere mai, welcome to the Kapa Haka 2016 Blog at Selwyn Ridge Primary School.  Kia hoka hoka kahurangi!

You can navigate through the menu above to view all our waiata, photos/videos, up coming events and any other information you will need to know as the year progresses.

This year we have 3 kapa haka rōpu (groups), our juniors practice on Thursday mornings, kotiro (girls) at 9-9.30am and tane (boys) 9.30-10am.  The middle rōpu (year 3/4s) practice on Fridays 10.30-11.45am and our senior rōpu (year 5/6s) on Fridays 11.45-12noon.  We welcome any whanau that would like to come and tautoko (support) our practices or just come and watch what we do.  Nau mai haere mai.

Feel free to ask any questions or posts comments through our blog which I will monitor and update each Friday afternoon.
