At Selwyn Ridge Primary we manage roll growth through a zone and an enrolment scheme.
Enrolment forms are available from the office. Alternatively you are able to Selwyn Ridge Enrolment Form, fill it in and email it to email@example.com. If you are unable to fill in the PDF enrolment form on your computer, try using an online PDF service such as PDF Filler.
All students who live within the home zone described below shall be entitled to enrol at the school.
The zone includes all residential addresses on
• Welcome Bay Road from (and including) 79 east to 238;
• Meadowviews, Ryegrass, Cloverleaf, Lucerne, Pampas and Ridgemount;
• James Cook Dr from Welcome Bay Road to Endeavour and Keam;
• Endeavour, Pandora and Keam;
• All streets east of Otumanga Stream as far as (and including) Philomel, Osprey to 82, Kestrel, Hawk and Peregrine;
• Kaitemako Road and all adjoining cul-de-sacs.
Proof of residence within the zone will be required. This could be in the form of a power or phone account showing the residential address. A map of our school zone is shown below.
Each year, applications for enrolment for the following year from in-zone students will be sought by a date that will be published in a daily or community newspaper circulating in the area served by the school. This will enable the Board to assess the number of places that can be made available to students who live outside the home zone.
Out of Zone Enrolments
Each term the Board will determine the number of places that are likely to be available in the following term for the enrolment of students who live outside the home zone. The Board will publish this information by notice in a daily or community newspaper circulating in t he area served by the school. The notice will indicate how applications are to be made and will specify a date by which all applications must be received.
Applications for enrolment will be processed in the following order of priority:
First priority: special programmes – (not applicable)
Second priority: will be given to applicants who are siblings of current students
Third priority: will be given to applicants who are siblings of former students
Fourth priority: will be given to applicants who are children of former students
Fifth priority: will be given to applicants who are children of board employees or children of board members
Sixth priority: will be given to all other applicants
