2026 Term 2 & 3 winter sports registrations are now OPEN.
If players are needed to fill teams or if coaches are needed then a post will be put on the School Sports Facebook Page below.
The CUTOFF date for all registrations is Wednesday 25 March - Week 8 - Term 1 at 12:00pm.
Once the registrations have closed then children will be organised into teams if we have enough coaches. If you would like to be involved in your child's sports team by way of coaching or managing please fill out the required section on the registration. This will be appreciated for when Julie is organising the teams.
Teams can not be registered with the associations unless we have your support. Please note there has be an increase in fees for some sports. This is due to the cost of administration depending on the ratio of players per code and the change to association fee structure in some codes.
Term 2 & 3 winter sports teams will be posted on the School Sports Facebook Page - Click on this link for the School Sports Facebook Page also displayed on the sports board in the school hall.
The team lists and draws for sports will be posted by the end of Week 2 - Term 2. They will also be displayed on the sports board in the hall.
Coaches team information and gear bags can be collected from the sports office prior to the season starting.

The Selwyn Ridge Hockey Hub Starts: Wednesday 13 May on the school sports turf from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. However we will need 10 or more registered children from our community to attend the programme at school in order for it be run. If we can't then your child will be able to attend the programme at the Tauranga Boys College on Saturdays from 9am to 10am.
The programme is designed and developed for 5 and 6 year old children who are 'new' players to the game of hockey. The sessions will have a mixture of fundamental skills, game sense, hockey skills and fun games encouraging hand-eye co ordination and learning by doing.
All equipment is provided including hockey sticks and each child is given their own mouthguard. Children will need to wear shinpads/longsocks and suitable sports shoes and clothing.

Sports Uniform: Our school PE shirt, which is available for purchase for $50 from the school shop. school shorts and navy or black sports shorts are to be worn.
