Year 6 grad part 2

As our final day for 2025 comes to an end we have some lost property left behind... If you recognise anything come and collect it or do a walk by straight after school - all lost property will be in the heart of the school outside the hall. kia ora koutou :)

Whāia te iti kahurangi, ki te tūohu koe, me he maunga teitei. Congratulations to our awesome year 6 cohort who had a great graduation evening last night. Thank you again to whānau for all the support over the years. Ka rere te manu, ka tau anō. The bird flies, and will land again.

Last day of school tomorrow (Tuesday 16 December) - we finish at our normal time of 2:30pm, and... it is a no uniform day. Ngā mihi

Final newsletter for 2025.

Ka rawe tō mahi koutou! What an amazing final assembly we had. It is always a true bucket filling day when we get to reflect on all the achievements and acknowledge all of our amazing ākonga across our kura. Congratulations to all our end of year class certificate recipients and our 2025 award winners. Ngā mihi to Katrina, our board chair, for her speech acknowledging all the mahi across our kura and the exciting opportunities ahead of us. Our departing Y6’s farewelled SRP with a great song and there was definitely a few ‘end of an era’ tears shed. Kia hora te marino, kia whakapapa pounamu te moana, kia tere to Kārohirohi i mua i tōu huarahi. May the calm be widespread, may the ocean glisten as greenstone, may the shimmer of light ever dance across your pathway.

Kia ora whānau, Tomorrow we have our final assembly. This is an opportunity for us to acknowledge and celebrate progress and achievement for the year and also to awhi our year 6 learners as they prepare to spread spread their wings further and soar into the next stages of their education and lives. We're aiming to start at 8:45am. It's going to be pretty warm, so you might like to dress lightly. You may also like to bring a pillow. Parking at the Victory Street tennis carpark is recommended. School finishes this year on Tuesday 16 December at 2:30pm and is a free mufti day for our children. Ngā mihi
