Let’s finish the term on a high note! Tomorrow is the final day of the term, and it’s a non-uniform day. Don't forget that our Easter raffle will be drawn tomorrow as well. If you haven't grabbed your tickets yet, head to the office today to make sure you're in to win! We’ll be hosting a final celebration in the hall starting at 2:00 pm tomorrow to draw the winners and wrap up the term together. We would love to see you all there!

We had an awesome Week 8 assembly, despite the weather today! We celebrated a super week of learning across the school, there was a theme of demonstrating kindness. It was nice to see so many of our learners recognised for their big hearts and the way they support one another. The spotlight was on Room 16 this week, who did an amazing job sharing their creative writing and vibrant artwork with us all. We also enjoyed a catchy song that Mr. Price taught us, he had the whole hall buzzing. Our EPro8 teams were celebrated with the winning team heading off to Ōtūmoetai Intermediate to represent our school. And we sure do have some incredible swimming talent from SRP, our team took home many top placings at the recent Cluster competition. To top it all off, we enjoyed a fabulous video put together by Miss Stevens capturing the highlights of our recent duathlon. You will be able to view the video yourselves in our newsletter, due out next week. Listen out for the lyrics of the personalised song that accompanies it!

Wow!! What an awesome duathlon event today at Waipuna Park. Thank you to our amazing SRP Events Team, teachers and the year 6 dynamo leaders for ensuring the day was fun and ran smoothly for everyone. 🏃‍♂️ Selwyn Ridge Duathlon: This Tuesday! 🚴‍♀️ We are so excited for a fantastic day at Waipuna Park! The weather is looking awesome and we have a great number of entries. Here is everything you need to know for the big day: 🎒 The Basics Arrival: Children come to school at the normal time dressed in their sports gear. After: Children will walk back to school with their teachers. Transport: Teachers will walk students to and from Waipuna Park. Presentations: Held after each year level finishes. 🚲 Bike & Helmet Info (Important!) Drop-off: Take bikes/helmets directly to Waipuna Park (NOT school). Labeling: Clearly mark everything with your child’s Name, Year Level, and Gender (e.g., Year 2 Boys). Pick-up: Parents must collect bikes from the park between 11:45 am – 11:55 am or after prize-giving (before 3:00 pm). Children cannot walk bikes back to school. Walking School Bus Dropping off a bike early? Save a trip to school! A "Walking School Bus" will leave the Waipuna Park gazebo at 8:00 am to take children to school.
