Kia ora whānau, Welcome to Wiki 2! This morning we came together as a whole kura for our first Celebration Hui of the year. Mr Price proudly introduced our new Team Tūī. In 2026, we will have four teams across the school, with more information and new branding to be shared as it becomes available. Mr Price also shared some important reminders about why we come to school — to learn, grow, and do our very best — along with key messages about wearing hats outside during Term 1. We finished the hui by celebrating and acknowledging some of our amazing ākonga who are already soaring high through our SRP Bookmark Awards. 🌟 Me mahi tahi tātou mō te oranga o te katoa We should work together for the wellbeing of everyone

Dear Whānau, Parents and Caregivers, We are doing a “HERO APP” sign up drive. WHAT IS HERO? Hero allows schools to build an online environment that reflects our unique context. It enables teachers, students, and families to view and share content anytime, anywhere on any device. The software is secure, easy to use and brings together all school-related information in one place. We are excited about the features that Hero has to offer families. We will be using a range of online features across 2026 onwards. You can: ● read whole school newsletters, notices and reminders ● read notices sent to the class or groups your child is part of ● coming soon - respond to school notices such as surveys and trip permission requests ● view school term dates, view a school calendar of events ● coming soon -notify the school if your child is absent or late ● customise your account by adding a profile image ● select how you wish to receive notifications To help whānau, parents & caregivers in getting the app and logging in we will be signing up during our Whakawhānaungatanga evening and across the first few weeks of 2026.
