Te Rā o Tumeke Tumuaki - happy Principals day Mr Price! We would all like to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work and dedication you put in for us here at SRP. We have heard it said that behind every great kura is a great tumuaki ... well we sure do have an amazing kura so it must be true! Mā mua ka kite a muri, mā muri ka ora a mua --------------------------------------------- Those who lead give sight to those who follow, those who follow give life to those who lead
Free "give it a go" session this Friday afternoon.
Mōrena, lovely to see the sun again today. Lovely day for a newsletter too
What a beautiful day to kick off Wiki 2 this term. Our M.M. today looked at how collaboration helps us to learn and grow - we talked about collaboration being where 2 or more people come together to achieve a goal, create/design/make or present something. To reflect our arts curriculum for this term we were lucky to have a drama demonstration from Charlize, Lily, Mikaesha, Chloe & Indie based around collaboration - tino pai tō mahi! We were excited to welcome Anna from Wednesday Challenge who came to present our school wide prize for Term 2 biggest mode shift!! What a fantastic team effort - "Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini, My strength is not that of one, but the strength of many". Ka rawe tō mahi to all our Bookmark Award winners - we love celebrating all the amazing mahi around our kura. Kia Hokahoka Kahurangi - you are all truly soaring high!
