What a beautiful day for room 8 to kick off Aongatete camp!

This morning we officially met our awesome Road Patrollers - the tamariki who help keep everyone safe at our school gates each day. Thank you for your leadership! We also took time to look closely at what respectful, calm sharing of our Manawa Space looks like. As a kura, we are committed to creating spaces where everyone feels safe and respected and our tamariki are growing their understanding of what this looks and feels like in action. To top it off, we celebrated learners who were awarded bookmarks this week after being spotted being awesome and ‘Soaring High’ at kura. We love recognising those everyday moments of kindness, effort, leadership and positivity. Ka pai, SRP – what a strong start to the week! ✨

Our first mihi whakatau of the year was a beautiful way to start the day. So many tamariki and whānau to welcome! "Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini.” Our strength is not that of one but of many!
