What a wonderful Friday assembly! A huge thank you to the Kōtuku Team for leading such a fantastic assembly. It was wonderful to hear Room 3’s beautiful singing and to share in all the learning and activities that the Kōtuku Team have been up to. We were also treated to a fabulous performance from our Senior Choir, accompanied by some very clever ‘tuned pipe percussion’! The medley Mr De Barr put together was incredible to hear, with some fantastic soloists adding to the performance. Our Rock Band had us all tapping our feet, and our wonderful MCs did a fantastic job leading us through the assembly. We also celebrated our learners who have been Soaring High with our awards this week. We are always proud to recognise the effort, growth, kindness and positive choices happening across our school. A great way to finish the week - ka rawe, mahi tika ana everyone!

What a wonderful way to start our week, coming together for our Monday Message assembly as a school to celebrate the achievements, efforts and talents of our incredible tamariki! Congratulations to all our 'Bookmark Award Winners' – students who were recognised for their achievements, positive choices and commitment to their learning. We are so proud of you! Wednesday Challenge Travellers – a huge shout-out to everyone who continues to get active, get moving and clock up those active journeys! Only a couple of Wednesdays to finish the term strong. And what a treat to finish our Monday Message, we were incredibly lucky to watch our SRP Senior Kapa Haka rōpū performing and soaring high. Their confidence, mana, energy and commitment were fantastic to see. A huge mihi to our performers and whāea Leah – he mahi whakamiharo! It was a great reminder that when we come together as a school, we celebrate not only individual achievements but the collective spirit, talent and mana of our whole school whānau. Ka mau te wehi, everyone! What a way to start the week!

✨What a BRIGHT night! ✨ It was fabulous to see everyone getting into the NEON theme at our Term 3 Junior and Senior DISCOs tonight! You certainly BRIGHTENED up our evening with your colourful outfits, awesome dance moves and fantastic energy! A huge thank you to Phil from Audio Solutionz for supplying the amazing disco lights and helping us create such a vibrant atmosphere. And, of course, a massive shout-out to our incredible STAR team for all the hard work behind the scenes — organising tickets, decorations, kai stalls, sausage sizzling and keeping everything running smoothly throughout the evening. And finally, a mention for our resident DJs, Mr Price & Mr DeBarr, who kept the vibes high and the beats pumping all night long!
