Mōrena koutou - welcome to Wiki 2:) This morning at our M.M.M (Monday Morning Message) we shared some key messages with ākonga around what's coming up and celebrated some awesome ākonga. Ka pai tō mahi to all our 'SRP Bookmark Award' winners - we love celebrating the amazing learning around our kura. We talked about the National Shake Out happening on Thursday, with the key message around drop, cover, hold - and how we can practice so we are best prepared. Jastaaz and Stella introduced our SRP Diwali celebrations coming up next week... stay posted for more information. Ngā mihi to Brooklyn & Marley for presenting our Wiki 1 top 4 Wednesday Challenge classes - Room 5 & 12 100% active travel, then Room 18 with 97% and Room 11 with 96% active travel to school - remember whānau every Wednesday our wero is for as many tamariki as possible to travel actively to school or park away from school and walk, glide, run into school! Have a fantastic week whānau - remember to pop in to the Manawa space and check out the amazing raffles our STAR group have organised and there is still time to purchase tickets for out our STAR group musical bingo night this coming Saturday evening! Mōrena, remember to pop in and check out the awesome raffles and auctions being run by our STAR team this week. These will be drawn at the bingo night on Saturday. These are open to anyone to purchase - you don't have to be coming to the bingo night to enter. We'll give prizes out at school. Come to the Manawa space, check them out and get in to win!

Our STAR group have these awesome raffles and auctions available for you to enter. They are in the Manawa space this week. We'd love you to pop in and take a look and then enter a few. Raffle tickets are $2 each. Auction bids must be placed by an adult who is able to pay the amount they bid. All auctions are blind — simply write your bid on a slip of paper and hand it in. The highest bid will win.If there’s a tie for the highest bid, the winner will be drawn from a hat. All raffle and auction winners will be drawn at the Bingo Night. Thanks STAR group for all your mahi, and thanks community for supporting our fundraising efforts!

The awesome first team at the Bunnings BBQ Mount Maunganui! The STAR group are working hard today fundraising for the school van. Working till 4pm. Come get a delicious sausage if you’re around. Nā tō rourou, nā taku rourou ka ora ai te iwi.

Week 1 term 4 on the ridge and we’re right back into it! Don’t forget to dig out those hats over the weekend. Surely the sun will come out next week… Have a great weekend everyone. Remember to call into Bunnings to support our sausage sizzle if you can tomorrow. And there’s still a few Bingo tickets available too. Thanks for all your awhi whānau.
