Umpire Development
Tauranga Netball provides clear pathways for our Umpires to develop their umpire techniques and skills. We have an Umpires Group led by our Umpire Lead - Maree Body, so, whether you are just starting out in your umpiring journey or have been on the journey for a while, the TNC Umpires Group is here to support you with workshops, umpire coaching, mentoring and general guidance. The pathways we offer are the:
• Learn to Umpire Workshop Pathway – if you want to be developed and to learn how to umpire
• Development Umpire Pathway – if you have a qualification and want to receive development coaching, and be assessed for your next qualification
• Continuing Umpire Pathway – if you have a qualification and want to stay with it but still receive development coaching
Please contact Maree Body our Umpire Lead umpirelead@tauranganetball.co.nz for any information about our pathways and which may be best for you if you are wanting to register or see our website www.tauranganetball.co.nz for further information.
