Fee: $30 per player

Games are played at Waipuna Park, Kaitemako Rd, Welcome Bay on Wednesdays 3:30pm - 4:00pm or 4:45pm

The Waipuna Football Club is excited to run its Summer League again in Term 1 of 2026. We are looking forward to seeing some of our previous players coming back to the sport they love, and are excited to welcome new players and their family / supporters into the club.
Our goal for this league is to provide a fun and friendly playing environment for everyone involved. It is not a competition, simply a platform where children can have a run around with their friends or giving some a chance to learn a new sport.  

Teams will need a coach, rules are simple to follow to keep it fun. Referees are provided but coaches or a parent maybe needed some weeks. Referees are welcome to referee half a game each with the opposing team. 

Times / Players:
Years 0 - 2 play at 3:30pm, they have two x 12 minute halves with a six minute half time break - four players per team on the field with no goalie. No more than 7 players per team.

Years 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 (7&8s will need to register through their own school or via the Waipuna Football Club) play at either 4:00pm or 4:45pm, they will have two 20 minute halves with a five minute break - five players per team on the field including a goalie. No more than 8 players per team. 

Players are to wear trainers or football boots with blades or moulded studs (no metal studs or barefeet) and shin pads must be worn. School PE shirt and suitable sports shorts. Please bring a water bottle to games.
