RIPPA RUGBY Years 0 - 2 Players

ALL GAMES ARE PLAYED AT WAIPUNA PARK - Kaitemako Road, Welcome Bay

RIPPA RUGBY - Years 0-2 - Rippa rugby is an entry level game introducing the kids to running with the rugby ball, passing and working as a team. This is non-contact and the kids wear a belt and tags to simulate a tackle.

Yrs 0-2 play 5v5 with a maximum of 8 players in a team - teams will be mixed boys and girls 

Teams will need a coach please. The rules are basic and the aim is ensure all players enjoy playing the game. Coaches, parents or an older sibling will be needed to referee thier own game each week. BOP Rugby provide the playing tags for all teams and will be already on the field when teams arrive.

Players wear our school PE shirt and suitable sports shorts. Players play in bare feet, no shoes or rugby boots. 

Times: All games are played on Thursdays between 4:00pm - 6:00pm - The Year 0-2 teams play at either 4pm or 4:30pm
