ALL GAMES ARE PLAYED AT WAIPUNA PARK - Kaitemako Road, Welcome Bay

RIPPA RUGBY - Years 0-2 - Rippa rugby is an entry level game introducing the kids to running with the rugby ball, passing and working as a team. This is non-contact and the kids wear a belt and tags to simulate a tackle.

Yrs 0-2 play 5v5 with a maximum of 8 players in a team - teams will be single gender girls or boys depending on registratons, if we don't get enough to field single gender teams then mixed teams will play in the boys grade.

Teams will need a coach and manager please. Referees will be provided by BOP Rugby. The rules are basic and the aim is ensure all players enjoy playing the game.

Equipment will be provided by BOP Rugby Union.

Players wear our school PE shirt and suitable sports shorts. Players play in bare feet, no shoes or rugby boots. 

Times: All games are played on Thursdays between 4:00pm - 6:00pm - The Year 0-2 teams play at either 4pm or 4:30pm
